Why San Francisco is Important to Me: As I have grown up in the Bay Area, I have come to understand one of the main reasons why San Francisco has been and will continue to be a leader: the people. I am motivated by the policies that its people have promoted, despite the challenges and risks, and I am excited to be part of an opportunity to experience this local government first hand. The opportunities, diversity, and activism of San Francisco have inspired me to challenge myself in the same way that San Francisco challenges the rest of the country.
Something Unique About Me: I have been playing violin since I was six years old, and I have been part of orchestras that have toured in ten countries, including Italy, China, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Canada, Russia, Finland, and Estonia.
