Why San Francisco is important to me: As a proud Bay Area native, I spent practically every weekend here from the farmer’s market at the Ferry Plaza to buying touristy souvenirs at Fisherman’s Wharf. While working for Supervisor Jane Kim and for the constituents of District 6, I witnessed first hand both the incredible diversity and the progressive spirit of San Francisco but also some of the immense challenges the city faced such as affordable housing and blatant economic disparities I saw from one MUNI stop to the next. I knew I had to return and give back to a city that has done so much for me.
Something unique about me: Despite my very small size, I have a black belt in Taekwondo.
