Why San Francisco is Important to Me: While I was raised in the Bay Area suburb of Dublin, CA, I accredit much of my ideological and socio-political development to being around “San Francisco values” and learning from its history of activism. While the City still faces many serious issues, its willingness to take bold steps alongside community leaders to advance a progressive agenda of social justice, provide quality services to its diverse communities and promote cultural celebration and understanding makes it a City unlike any other.
Something Unique About Me: After years of being a loyal viewer, I highly considered applying to be a contestant on the Big Brother reality show this summer, but fortunately I opted to apply for City Hall Fellows instead!
