Why San Francisco is Important to Me: Growing up in the East Bay, I always looked to San Francisco as a place where engaged citizens could make a tangible difference in their communities. Because of the groundbreaking policy challenges that face the city today, I’m lucky to have the opportunity to connect my Political Science education and my passion for progressive public policy in a way that benefits San Francisco’s communities.
Something Unique about Me: I once swam with a humpback whale in open water.
