Why San Francisco is important to me: As a native of San Francisco, I know firsthand the hardships that many communities face and the abundance of opportunity available for those in the know. I am confident the fellowship will give me the tools to bridge those gaps.

Something unique about me: I started a film production in the Summer of 2006. Since then I have directed ten music videos. My interest in film led me to Paris where I studied classic French cinema for a semester.

What I’m Doing Now: I’ve stayed in San Francisco working on local education issues since my Fellowship. I’m currently at the San Francisco Education Fund.
